A few things to look forward to

Hey, we made it through the first week of 2025, and thought we'd lift our heads for a quick update...

This is the time when we do an accounting of the past year's business, and everyone at the Birdcage is busy with a ton of paperwork. Actually, it's a bit more than usual— because we're settling accounts with our artists for all of 2024 at once—and you can expect to get a report of your sales and payouts shortly. Keep an eye on your inbox!

After that, we'll be reaching out to everyone in the distro, to see what you've been up to—and if you have any new comics to share! We'll give priority to folks who are already selling with us, but we hope to have room for some new faces as well.

Artists, please take a look at your page and start thinking about what titles you might like to restock and which ones are sold out for good. We'd like to have the store freshened up and ready for some promotions in the spring.

Now if you'll pardon us, it's time to get back to the bottom of the ol' birdcage and do our books (See what we did there?)
