"Enter, Holy Pilgrim: Ley Lines #9" by Laila Milevski

Ley Lines is a quarterly publication dedicated to exploring the intersection of comics and the various fields of art & culture that inspire us.

“A troubled serf seeks spiritual guidance on pilgrimage.”

A peasant from the French countryside goes on a pilgrimage to the city. Upon arrival, she has a religious reawakening at a cathedral built in the Gothic style. Gothic Architecture originated in France around 1130 and spread throughout Europe into the 14th century. It introduced pointed arches and ribbed vaulting, allowing for walls to becoming lighter and incorporate more stained glass windows.
